In an effort to recruit candidates from across North Texas, the state and the country, Garland ISD’s Human Resources team is making history by launching our first-ever weekly virtual job fairs starting tomorrow, Tuesday, Aug. 31.
Aspiring teachers can join virtually from 4-7 p.m. every Tuesday to speak directly with district recruiters and select campus administrators regarding open positions and exclusive benefits. During these weekly virtual sessions, GISD is investing in candidates by helping them get ready to interview, talking through the process of becoming certified (if noncertified candidate) and highlighting the benefits of becoming a part of Team GISD. New employees have access to competitive pay, award-winning campuses and departments, an Employee Clinic, a special two-year mentoring program for first-year teachers, and much more.
