UPDATES: MAY 26

Dear Class of 2020 Families:

Today we were informed that the city of Arlington fire marshal is interpreting TEA graduation guidelines to mean that each graduate is limited to five tickets for the ceremony.

As a result, each graduate will receive five (5) free tickets to be used only by members of the same household for graduation. There will not be an opportunity to buy/receive additional tickets.

Please know that we advocated strongly to get six tickets for our families. However, this is out of our control, and the decision is final.

In addition, Globe Life Park notified us of these added rules that will be in place.

  •  Prior to attending the ceremony, graduates and guests will be screened via questioning by staff for any signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19.
  • No outside items or bags (other than diaper bags and medical bags) will be allowed, including flowers, balloons, and signs.  However, guests are allowed to bring in one sealed bottle of water. For a specific list of items that are prohibited, see the frequently asked questions section below.
  • No items will be distributed to guests, and there will be no concessions. Graduation programs will be given out with tickets.  A link to each program will be available on this page for viewing access during the ceremony.
  • All guests will be screened through a metal detector as they enter.
  • For safety, only flat bottom shoes (no heels) are allowed on the turf field for all graduates.
  • The ceremony is limited to 90 minutes. Guests and graduates will be allowed to enter one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.
  • No congregating will be allowed before or after the ceremony. Guests will be dismissed in sections to move immediately to cars after the ceremony ends.

Ticket pick-up information is coming soon, and we will communicate that once details are received from Globe Life Park. We understand this ever-changing situation is challenging. Our focus is on celebrating our graduates with a memorable and meaningful event that commemorates and honors their accomplishments in the safest way possible.
