Brannon Langdon Spencer, 41, was arrested after leading police on a vehicle pursuit through multiple cities Saturday, July 13 just before 11 p.m.
A Garland police officer had attempted to initiate a traffic stop on a blue Honda Civic in the 2000 block of Northwest Highway for a traffic violation. Spencer, the driver, did not stop and lead officers in pursuit onto LBJ Freeway.
Spencer attempted to evade officers through multiple cities including Garland, Dallas, Irving, Duncanville and Mesquite. He finally came to a stop in the 18000 block of LBJ Freeway in Mesquite and was apprehended after attempting to evade officers across the highway on foot.
The suspect is currently in the Garland Detention Center on charges of Evading Arrest in a Vehicle and misdemeanor warrants.
