Thursday, Aug. 24, just before 1 p.m., the Garland Police Department officers were dispatched to the area of Duck Creek Drive and East Oates Road in reference to a male passed out under a bridge. Officers arrived on scene and quickly determined the male was deceased with injuries indicating foul play.
Detectives responded and are working this as an active homicide investigation. The identity and cause of death has not yet been determined.
