GPD searches for robbery suspect

The Garland Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred July 8, at approximately 10:30 p.m., at a Conoco located in the 3300 block of South Garland Avenue.

 

Detectives recovered video surveillance that shows a black male enter the store, approach the front counter with money in hand as if he was going to purchase items.  He then produces a black and silver handgun and demands money from the clerk.  The male flees from the location on foot.

 

Police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this robbery suspect.

 

He is described as a black male wearing an orange Texas Longhorns hoodie, blue jogging pants, white socks and Nike sandals.
