GSM receives 30 Column Award nominations

Feb. 15, 2020

Patty Granville, producer of the Garland Summer Musicals, as well as Garland’s Director of Cultural Arts, announced Thursday, Feb. 13, that GSM has received 30 Column Award nominations.

GSM’s 2019 productions, “Mamma Mia” and “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” were wildly popular with theatre-goers.

“It was an amazing season. We presented two blockbuster musicals that the audiences absolutely loved,” Granville said. “I do believe this is the most nominations we have received in a season.”

Granville added that GSM usually garners at least 20 each year. That’s no surprise, however, with the quality of the productions they offer year after year.
