Looking for a summer camp opportunity? Garland Summer Musicals has partnered with Dallas Young Artists for over 10 years to provide a musical theatre summer camp for children in grades 3-12.
The camp is designed to bring children excellent instruction in:
- acting
- vocal production
- movement
- set design
- make-up
- playwriting
- audition skills.
This year, the camp will produce the hit musical Big Fish.

The camp runs 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday, June 21-July 9. The camp cost is $600.
The class will be held at the Granville Arts Center, 300 North Fifth Street in downtown Garland.
Big Fish Performance dates/times:
- Thursday, July 8, at 7 p.m.
- Friday, July 9, at 7 p.m.
- Saturday, July 10, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- Sunday, July 11, at 2 p.m.
