Below are the scores from the District 9-6A high school football teams played Thursday, Sept. 14, and Friday, Sept. 15.

North Garland Raiders 29 – South Garland Titans 26
The North Garland Raiders (1-3, 1-1) got a 29-26 win over the South Garland Titans (2-2, 2-0) in a close contest.
Trent Hill had two TD runs for the Raiders and Mateo Howard had one. Quarterback Kameron Shaw ran for 150 yards in 14 carries on the game. NGHS also got two field goals and the Zarren Willis, defense end, got a safety.
The Titans quarterback Jaden Holland threw for four touchdowns. Ramon Franco and Jonas Brown had the TD catches. Franco caught nine throws for 91 yards. Rodrigo Romero carried the ball 10 times for 68 rushing yards.
Wylie East Raiders 58 – Naaman Forest Rangers 14
The Wylie East Raiders (3-0, 1-0) defeated the Naaman Forest Rangers (0-4, 0-2) Thursday, Sept. 14, at Williams Stadium.
Deangelo Perales, the Naaman Forest High School QB threw for 190 yards and one TD pass to Chance Ables. Perales also added a rushing touchdown. Johnathan French-Love caught seven passes for 79 yards on the night.

Garland Owls 24 – Lakeview Centennial Patriots 14
The Garland Owls (3-1, 2-0) defeated the Lakeview Centennial Patriots Friday, Sept. 15. The final score was 24-14.
The Owls quarterback Orlando Routt completed 19 of 24 pass attempts and 120 yards and two touchdowns. The TD catches were caught by Jayden Norwood and De’Adrian Hardy. Hardy also scored a rushing TD and carried the ball 19 times for 80 yards on the night.
Kendrick Sanders, LCHS quarterback, completed 15-28 attempts for 114 and two TDs. Julius Spencer caught the TD passes.
Sachse Mustangs 45 – Rowlett Eagles 7
The Sachse Mustangs (2-2, 2-0) got a 45-7 win over the Rowlett Eagles (1-3, 1-1) Friday, Sept. 15.
Brenden George, the Sachse High School quarterback, went 11-17 with 238 yards and two touchdown throws. The TD throws were caught by Kaliq Lockett (who caught five throws for 80 yards on the game) and Santana Quinn. George also scored two TDs on the ground and rushed for 976 yards on nine carries. Brendon Haywood scored one rushing TD. The defense scored for the Mustangs on an interception return.
The Eagles score came on a pass from QB Andrew Ellison to Joseph Brocks. Ellison completed 11 passes for 132 yards.
