Week six of the high school football season is in the books with wins for the Sachse Mustangs, Wylie East Raiders, Rowlett Eagles and Wylie Pirates. The District 9-6A standings are below.
Sachse Mustangs 49 – Naaman Forest Rangers 14

The Sachse Mustangs (4-2, 4-0) got a big win over the Naaman Forest Rangers (0-5, 0-3) Thursday, Sept. 29, at Williams Stadium. Quarterback Brenden George finished the game at 16-25 with 280 yards and three TDs. He also rushed for 67 yards and a score. Kaliq Lockett had 10 catches for 112 yards and a TD. Robbie Rothrock had one reception for 75 yards and a touchdown. Santana Quinn caught three passes for 25 yards and a TD. Brendon Haygood made three scores and rushed for 168 yards on seven carries.
The Rangers’ quarterback, Deangelo Perales threw for 139 yards and a touchdown and quarterback Hayden ended the game at 2-2 with 57 yards and a TD. Chance Ables and Dylan Turner each caught a touchdown pass.
The Mustangs’ coaches named Brendon Haygood Offensive MVP for seven carries for 168 yards and three TDs. Sean Devault was their pick for Defensive MVP for 12 tackles and three QB pressures.
Wylie East Raiders 28 – Garland Owls 17

On Friday, Sept. 30, at Garland’s Williams Stadium, the Raiders Wylie East Raider (4-1, 2-1) quarterback, Howard Fisher IV threw for 160 yards and a score. He also rushed for a TD Michael Henderson III rushed for 81 yards and a TD. The defense also scored on an interception.
The Garland Owls’ (4-2, 3-1 quarterback Jayden Norwood threw for one TD to Keylon Davis, who had 6 catches for 102 yards. Norwood also rushed for a touchdown. The defense also got two points on a safety.
Rowlett Eagles 41 – South Garland Titans 14
The Rowlett Eagles (2-4, 2-2) got a 41-14 win over the South Garland Titans (2-4, 0-4) Friday, Sept. 30, at Homer B. Johnson Stadium. Quarterback Andrew Ellison ended the game at 13-17 and two TDs. Quarterback River Kirkhuff also threw for a TD. Rodney Gore, Cordell Lee and Jalen Thomas caught TD passes. Ger’Myius Benson carried the football 17 times for 154 yards and two touchdowns. The Eagles’ defense added a score on an interception.
The Titans quarterback, threw for 161 yards and two scores. Ramon Franco and Mariano Flores caught the TD passes.
Wylie Pirates 41 – Lakeview Centennial Patriots 29
The Wylie Pirates (4-1, 3-0) got a win over the Lakeview Centennial Patriots (3-3, 1-3) Friday, Sept. 30, at Wylie ISD Stadium. Wylie QB, Jagger Bale completed 12 of 18 pass attempts for 199 yards and two touchdowns. Martaveion Sanders caught both TD passes. Roman Bueche scored two rushing TDs and Josh Ausborne and Bale scored one rushing TD each.
Patriots’ quarterback Kendrick Sanders ended the game at 19-33 yards and four touchdowns. Julius Spencer caught nine passes for 155 yards and two scores and Trenton Harris caught five for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
