Scores for Garland ISD girls’ high school basketball, including playoff progress of Lady Mustangs, are below, along with details for first boys’ teams playoff games.
Girls – Feb. 11, 15
The District 10-6A champs, Sachse High School’s Lady Mustangs, defeated Plano East HS by a score of 68-42 at the Feb. 11 bi-district championship game. Jayla Brooks and Tia Harvey were the high scorers with 22 and 14 points respectively.
The Lady Mustangs won the area round of the playoffs Friday, Feb.15, defeating Mesquite Horn HS by a score of 67-50. Adhel Tac scored 24 for the Lady Mustangs. Avery Crouse and Tia Harvey contributed 13 points each.
Sachse HS will play Allen HS Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 6 p.m. for the regional playoff title.
Rowlett HS and Lakeview Centennial HS also competed in the bi-district playoff round Feb. 11. The Rowlett High School Lady Eagles were defeated by Prosper High School by a score of 63-40. Reagan Warren and Nadiyah Cooper scored 13 points each for RHS.
The Lakeview Centennial Lady Patriots were defeated by Plano HS by a score of 64-43. Alexis Glee scored 11 points for LCHS and Mariyah Ayers scored 10.

The South Garland Colonels are the District 10-6A champs. The Colonels are rated No. 6 in the area and two team members were on the area’s list of the season’s high scorers. Tyrese Maxey collected 685 points and Chris Harris, Jr. scored 561.
The Lakeview Centennial Patriots and Sachse Mustangs are also going to the playoffs.

Lakeview Centennial HS (19-11) will play Plano West HS (22-10) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Garland’s Curtis Culwell Center.
South Garland HS (27-6) will play Prosper HS (20-14) at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Lovejoy HS.
Sachse HS (18-14) will play Jesuit HS (27-5) at 7:30 Tuesday, Feb. 19, at Richardson Berkner HS.
