Varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball scores Jan. 8, 11

Scores for the Garland ISD high school varsity girls’ and boys’ basketball teams for Jan. 8 and 11 are below:

 

Jan. 8 – Girls

 

Rowlett HS Lady Eagles 67 – Lakeview Centennial HS Lady Patriots 57

Ngozi Obineke was the high scorer for RHS with 31 points. Deja Duncan and Reagan Warren scored nine points each.

LCHS high scorers were Maria Ayers who scored 17 points and Sanaa Baker who scored 14 points.

 

Wylie HS Lady Pirates 62 – North Garland HS Lady Raiders 33

WHS high scorers were Alyssa Sullivan with 16 points and Morgan Williams with 13 points.

NGHS high scorers were Asia Johnson with 13 points and Tyvonnia Williams with nine points.

 

Naaman Forest HS Lady Rangers 34 – Garland HS Lady Owls 28

Gabby Robinson and Bri Hampton were the high scorers for the Lady Rangers with 10 and nine points, respectively.

Lady Owls’ high scorers were Ruth Ajayl who scored 14 points and Xaria Harrison who scored seven points.

 

Sachse HS Lady Mustangs 84 – South Garland HS Lady Colonels 14

Tia Harvey, who scored 18 points and Jayla Brooks, who scored 16 points, were the high scorers for the Lady Mustangs.

 

Jan. 8 – Boys

 

Lakeview Centennial HS Patriots 75 – Rowlett HS Eagles 46

High scorers for LCHS were Donte Houston, R. and Daylan Fletcher with 13 points each.

High scorers for RHS were Coltyn Collins and Chukwu Ogu with 12 and 10 points respectively

 

Wylie HS Pirates 73 – North Garland HS Raiders 35

WHS high scorers were Eli Taylor with 16 points and John Achebe with 15 points.

 

Garland Owls 40 – Naaman Forest HS Rangers 37

GHS high scorers were Jayhlon Young with 17 points and Aaron King with 7 points.

High scorers for NFHS were Destyin Crabtree with 8 points and Navi Woodson, Yusouf Abdulhaiz and Mason Shaw with 7 points each.

 

South Garland HS Colonels – 61 Sachse HS Mustangs 51

Tyrese Maxey and Chris Harris, Jr. were the high scorers for SGHS with 23 and 13 points respectively.

SHS high scorers were Jordan Nichols with 12 points and Dylan McKeon with 11 points.

 

Jan. 11 – Girls

 

Garland HS Lady Owls 58 – North Garland HS Lady Raiders 31

GHS high scorers were Xyllize Harrison with 15 points and Ruth Ajayl with 14 points.

Asia Johnson and Tyvionna Williams were the high scorers for NGHS with 11 and 9 points respectively.

 

Sachse HS Lady Mustangs 71 – Rowlett HS Lady Eagles 27

Avery Crouse and Tia Harvey were the SHS high scorers with 16 and 14 points respectively.

RHS high scorers were Ngozi Obinke with 5 points and Reagan Warren with 6 points.

 

Lakeview Centennial HS Lady Patriots 71 – Naaman Forest HS Lady Rangers 55

High scorers for LCHS were Alexis Gie with 17 points and Aja Scott with 13 points.

High scorers for NFHS were Jordan McClenton with 23 points and Bri Hampton with 11 points.

 

Jan. 11 – Boys

 

North Garland HS Raiders 63 – Garland HS Owls 51

Raiders’ high scorers were Raquon Travis with 20 points and Miqah Matthews with 17 points.

Owls’ high scorers were Aaron King with 18 points and Jayhlon Young with 14 points.

 

Rowlett HS Eagles 55 – Sachse HS Mustangs 53

RHS high scorers were Udo Anylam and Carson Loya with 13 points each.

SHS high scorers for SHS were Dylan McKeon with 14 points and Jordan Nichols with 12 points.

 

Lakeview Centennial HS Patriots 51 – Naaman Forest HS Rangers 28

Jemarcus Caldwell, Torence Durham and Donte Houston, Jr. were high scorers for LCHS with 11 points each.

Mason Shaw was the NFHS high scorer with 11 points. Destyin Crabtree scored 6 points for NFHS.

 

South Garland HS 64 – Colonels Wylie HS Pirates 44

Chris Harris, Jr. and Tyrese Maxey were the high scorers for SGHS with 23 and 22 points respectively.

Cam Wells and John Achebe were WHS high scorers with 15 points each.
