Scores for the Nov. 5-6 District 9-6A Garland ISD HS football games are below along with the district standings.
Colonels get win over Raiders
The South Garland Colonels defeated the North Garland Raiders Thursday, Nov. 5, by a score of 27-14.
SGHS quarterback Jalil Brown passed for 187 yards on the night with three touchdown passes – two to Jacob Crim and one to Damon Rouwtt. Jayllen Chambers scored a rushing TD and carried the ball 13 times for 128 yards.

Raiders’ quarterback Nathan Pena ended the game at 20-41 with 238 yards passing. He connected with Ojuani Telemacque for one TD. Pena also scored a rushing touchdown.
NFHS defeats Wylie HS
The Naaman Forest Rangers defeated the Wylie Pirates Friday, Nov. 6. The final score was 31-15.
Ja’Hari scored two rushing TDs for NFHS. Tristan Johnson and James Quezada each caught passes from QB Austin Valdez for scores. QB Austin Valdez threw for 87 yards.
LCHS gets 48-30 win over SHS
The Sachse Mustangs were defeated by the Lakeview Centennial Patriots Friday, Nov. 6.

Camar Wheaton ran for an impressive 264 yards in 22 carries and scored two touchdowns. Quarterback Michael Hierro connected with Cambryn Jones for two scores. Hierro also rushed for two TDs and collected 104 rushing yards.
Mustangs’ QB Alex Orji threw for 116 yards and one TD when he connected with Cam Gladney. Orji also rushed for 148 yards and one score. Bryan Okoye had 10 carries for 116 yards and two touchdowns.
Eagles defeat Owls
The Rowlett Eagles defeated the Garland Owls Friday, Nov. 6, by a score of 35-28.
RHS quarterback Tre Carr connected with Corey Kirkling and Ernest Thomas for TDs. Carr also rushed for two TDs and Colton Yarbrough scored a rushing TD. Carr ended the game at 9-15 for 110 yards.
GHS quarterback Cergio Perez threw for 227 yards and one TD when he connected with Ellis Rogers. He also ran for two scores. Damerian Wigenton also scored a rushing TD.
