Scores of the high school varsity basketball games for Jan. 2 and Jan. 4 are below:

 

Jan. 2 – Girls

 

Rowlett HS Lady Eagles 51 – Wylie HS Lady Pirates 46

 

The Lady Eagles high scorers were Ngozi Obineke with 22 points and Nevaeh Zavala with 13
The Lady Pirates high scorers were Peyton Rush who scored 13 points and Sianne Hill who scored 11.

 

Lakeview Centennial HS Lady Patriots 51 – Garland HS Lady Owls 32

 

LCHS high scorers were Taliyah Harris with 21 points and Carleece Gates with 10 points.
Lady Owls’ high scorers were Xyllize Harrison with 13 points and Ruth Ajayi with 10.

 

Sachse HS Lady Mustangs 90 – North Garland HS Lady Raiders 14

The Lady Mustangs’ high scorers were Adhel Tac with 22 points and Tia Harvey with 18 points.
Marissa Jetawo and Asia Johnson were the NGHS high scorers with four and 3 points respectively.

Wylie HS Pirates 76 – Rowlett HS Eagles 57

 

Wylie HS high scorers were John Achebe with 29 points and Drew Lutcher with 13.
RHS high scorers were Chukwu Ogu and Elijah Sa Juan with 12 points each.

 

Lakeview Centennial HS Patriots 64 – Garland HS Owls 41

 

High scorers for the Patriots were Jemarcus Caldwell with 11 points and D.Q. Burton and Donte Houston, Jr. with 10 points each.
Garland Owls’ high scorers were Jayhlon Young who scored 19 points and Aaron King who scored six points.

 

Sachse HS Mustangs 78 – North Garland HS Raiders 55

 

The Mustangs’ high scorers were Obi Onyia with 20 points and Jordan Nichols with 14.
The Raiders’ high scorers were Migah Matthews with16 points and Raquon Travis with 14 points.

 

South Garland HS Colonels 80 – Naaman Forest HS Rangers 41

 

Ivanous Moffett and Tyrese Maxey were the high scorer for the Colonels with 18 points and 15 points.
High scorers for the Rangers were Jacob Mason with 13 points and Yusouf Abdulhafiz with 11.

RHS Lady Eagles 52 – GHS Lady Owls 39

 

High scorers for the Lady Eagles were Ngozi Obineke who scored 17 points and Madilyn Rodriguez who scored 11 points.

High scorers for the Lady Owls were Xyllize Harrison with 17 points and Ruth Ajayi with 9 points.

 

NGHS Lady Raiders 33 – SGHS Lady Colonels 29

 

High scorers for NGHS were Asia Johnson with 14 points and Megan Ross with 7 points.

Vanessa Wharton and Lordes Lara were the high scorers for SGHS with 15 points and 8 points respectively.

 

WHS Lady Pirates 41 – NFHS Lady Rangers 35

 

High scorers for the Lady Pirates were Payton Rush with 10 points and Alyssa Sullivan with 8 points.

Bri Hampton, who scored 17 points and Jordan McClenton, who scored 13 points were the high scorers for the Lady Rangers.

 

SHS Lady Mustangs 73 – LCHS Lady Patriots 33

 

The high scorers for the Lady Mustangs were Adhel Tac and Jayla Brooks with 18 points each.

The high scorers for the Lady Patriots were Carleece Gates with 11 points and Aja Scott with 10 points.

High scorers for the Eagles were Chukwu Ogu with 12 points and Coltyn Collins with 9 points.

High scorers for the Owls were Jayhlon King who scored 15 points and Aaron King who scored 10 points.

 

SGHS Colonels 78 – NGHS Raiders 38

 

High scorers for SGHS were Chris Harris, Jr. with 21 points and Tyrese Maxey with 20 points.

NGHS high scorers were Miqah Matthews with 9 points and Jaquon Travis with 8 points respectively.

 

WHS Pirates 67 – NFHS Rangers 54

 

High scorers for the Pirates were John Achebe with 24 points and Cory Wells with 14 points.

NFHS high scorers were Jacob Mason with 15 points and Mason Shaw with 14 points.

 

LCHS Patriots 54 – SHS Mustangs 48
