On Saturday, April 3, 2021, Jerry Lon Feagin, loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 63.
Jerry was born July 16, 1957, in Garland to Jackie and Joyce (Herring) Feagin. He graduated from South Garland High School in 1975. He worked with his mom at Joyce’s Jeans until 1982 when he went to work with his dad at Feagin Motor Company. He met his wife, Kerri, on the softball fields and they wed May 15, 1987. Together they raised Travis, Laura and Chelsea.
Jerry was an avid Rangers fan and a season ticket holder for 25 years. He loved spending days at the ballpark with his family. He enjoyed gardening and taking care of his yard. Jerry prided himself on taking care of his customers like they were family and was known for being able to fix just about anything.
He is survived by his wife, Kerri, his three children, Travis (Mary) Nichols, Laura (Ryan) Vayda, and Chelsea Feagin, his grandchildren, Gavin Nichols and baby Vayda, his parents, Jackie and Joyce Feagin, his brothers, Larry (Tracy), Garry and Bruce (Myra), and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of his life April 11, 2021, at Williams Funeral Home at 1 p.m.
