Garland will be featured on NewsRadio 1080 KRLD during the next stop on the station’s “Your Hometown Tour.”
The radio stations news anchors will broadcast live from Primo’s Tex-Mex Grille, 4861 Bass Pro Drive in Garland, Friday, March 4, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. During this time, they will highlight the lessons learned following the devastating Dec. 26 tornadoes and the status of the rebuilding efforts across the area.
The live broadcast is open to the public, and members of the community are invited to stop by and meet the KRLD News personalities.
City staff also will be on hand with information related to disaster preparedness, rebuilding processes and other city services.
The station’s “Your Hometown Tour” began in June 2013. Most recently, the tour visited North Dallas. Future stops will be announced at a later date.
