Library system earns excellence award

Feb. 4, 2021

For the 16th consecutive year, the Nicholson Memorial Library System has been awarded the Texas Achievement of Library Excellence Award from the Texas Municipal Library Directors Association.

Of the 568 public library systems in Texas, only 56 received the award. Our library system has received this award every year since 2005, when it was established. Garland’s system consistently performs in the top 10% of Texas libraries.
