Linh-Thuy Trinh is a graduating senior at Garland High School. She has been part of Garland High School’s International Baccalaureate Program and the Good Samaritans of Garland team. Linh’s academic dedication has allowed her to receive a full-ride scholarship to the University of Texas at Dallas where she will study finance and economics while minoring in political science. Upon completing her undergraduate degree, she plans on obtaining her graduate degree to pursue corporate law.
Linh’s free time activities include playing tennis, spending time with friends and gardening. She joined a team of her friends in creating the Good Sam Community Garden and compost.
“Before Good Sam’s Garden, I wasn’t aware of Good Sam, but once I met Pam Swendig and the rest of the team, I fell in love,” she said “The Good Sam community and the people they help brings me so much joy! If it wasn’t for the garden, I wouldn’t have been able to interact with all the people I have had the opportunity to meet. This experience has made me so happy. Good Sam is truly a community that I will continue to be a part of and it has really changed my perspective of the world!”
