Marcus Wayne Cline, age 66, passed away on March 13, 2022, in Texas City, Texas. He was born in Greenville, Texas on August 30, 1955, to Darlene (Coleman) Cline and Joe Wayne Cline. He was a loving father to his only biological child, Coleman Wayne Cline and an adoring husband to his second wife Sharon Lee (Nadeau) Cline. He also welcomed Sharon’s three children Sande Irwin, Nate Bartels, and Joseph Bartels into his life and considered them his own.
Marcus was a proud Marine who served from 1974-1978 and maintained the Marine ethos of hard work, quiet strength, commitment, and loyalty to his friends and loved ones throughout the remainder of his life.
Marcus was preceded in death by his son, Coleman, his father J. Wayne, his sister Rebecca, and his loving wife Sharon. He is survived by his mother Darlene, his three stepchildren, his sister Susan, an extended network of Cline/Coleman family, and a tight-knit group of lifelong friends who will miss him sorely.
