Mark your calendar for Christmas on the Square

Nov. 4, 2015

The city of Garland’s Christmas on the Square event is always fun and festive, and judging by the list of planned activities, this year will be no different.

The evening will include snow hills, photos with Santa, trains, crafts and snow hills for the kids and everyone will enjoy choir performances by local youth. The event will also feature holiday foods.

Additionally, the Urban Flea at Resurrected Designs will host a unique group of craft vendors to provide a great shopping experience.

Participants will receive color-changing LED wristbands for an interactive “glow with the show” experience.

Join the celebration on the historic downtown Garland square Thursday, Dec. 3, 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. The tree lighting will be at 7 p.m.

A sensory-friendly tree lighting for individuals with sensory disorders will be held Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 6:00 p.m. on the downtown square. This evening’s activities will be quieter with soft music and lighting, no fireworks and no large crowds. Children who wish to do so are welcome to mingle with Santa.
