Matthew’s Raiders ride again

Aug. 27, 2018

After 15 years and more than $40,000 raised, it’s time once again for the MDA Muscle Walk.

Matthew’s Raiders have partnered with the Muscular Dystrophy Association to help those living with muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases. They want to lead the fight to free individuals and the families who love them from the harmful effects of muscular dystrophy, ALS and related muscle-debilitating diseases that take away physical strength, independence and life.

Matthew’s Raiders was founded by David and Sharon Parrish to honor their son Matthew who passed away in 2010. His surviving family members work tirelessly to raise funds and this effort will impact thousands of kids and adults through MDA’s investment in research, family support, services and advocacy efforts.

The MDA Dallas Muscle Walk is Saturday, Sept. 29. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Walk begins at 10 a.m. Location is the Amphitheater at Oak Point Park, 2801 East Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.
