Medical City ER Garland, located at 3318 West Buckingham Road, is one of two emergency rooms in the city of Garland, fulfilling the need for emergency care in the western part of the growing community. Medical City ER Garland is a full-service emergency room staffed with board-certified emergency physicians and open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The 11,000-square-foot off-campus emergency department includes:

  • 10 private patient treatment rooms
  • Trauma room
  • Full laboratory
  • Radiology suite with X-ray and CT imaging

Medical City ER Garland will treat people of all ages, including pediatric patients.

“This expansion underscores our commitment to the care and improvement of human life by providing critical healthcare services beyond our main campus and closer to where people work, live and play,” said Jay deVenny, interim CEO of Medical City Dallas and CEO of Medical City Children’s Hospital. “On-call specialists and consultation services will be provided by our hospital medical staff, with seamless admission to Medical City Dallas or Medical City Children’s Hospital should a higher level of care be required.”

The expansion is part of Medical City Healthcare’s major capital investment initiative of more than $1.7 billion spent or committed over five years, which includes building acquisitions, expansions, facility enhancements and leading-edge technology.
