Reba Collins spoke to members of the Exchange Club about the work of Spring Creek Forest Preserve and was then presented with a flag stand by Noon Exchange Club President member Jim Bookhout. He also presented a donation to the Garland Police Department Summer Camp Program representatives.
Another of the organization’s members, Doug Burnside, introduced Garland Police Officer Daniel Lemboris as the You Make A Difference award recipient. The reason for the award follows:
Officer Lemboris and his partner responded to a burglary in progress at a local construction site. The suspect fled the scene but was quickly apprehended by the officers. Their professionalism and commitment to duty are always on display and reflect most impressively.
