Obituary: Anthony Eric Sustarsic

Anthony Eric Sustarsic, of Garland, Texas, passed away September 20, 2018 in his home at the age of 50. He was born on January 19, 1968.

 

He was saved at the age of 13 at Jefferson Street Independent Baptist Church in Brooksville, Florida, where he was baptized along with his sister and parents by Pastor Fred Templeton in 1981.

 

He was preceded in death by his beautiful, devoted wife Lynn and his dad Gary Thomas Lewellyn.

 

He is survived by his loving mother, Lynda Rae Lewellyn; son Christopher, daughter Ariel; sister Gretchen Etherington and her husband Greg; and father-in-law Lenny Holt.

 

He is also survived by his uncle Roger Johnson; many other aunts and uncles, nephews Matthew, Michael, David, Stephen and Kurt.

 

He was known among family and friends as a very talented and published author of poetry. God blessed him with an amazing talent as a guitar player and singer-song writer.

 

Most of all, he wanted to spread the Word of God through his music. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and soul. He wrote and composed many wonderful songs for the Lord.

 

His favorite Bible verse: “Sing unto Him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.”  – Psalm 33:3 KJV
