Emma Louise Crayton was familiar to many because of her longtime service as an election judge in Garland. She was also active with prison ministries and served as president of her homeowners’ association.
One social media tribute to Crayton described her as “tough in all the good ways – she knew who she was and didn’t compromise on her principles.”
Visitation will be Friday, April 30, 2021, from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Golden Gate Funeral Home – 4155 South R.L. Thornton Freeway in Dallas.
The funeral service will be at the Greater Zion Baptist Church Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 11 a.m. The church is located at 4751 Hopkins Avenue in Dallas.
