August 23, 1950 – October 5, 2019
Perla Febre Tepait, born August 23, 1950, left this life to be with the Lord October 5, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Mila Febre and a brother, June Febre.
She was survived by her husband Bob Tepait; son Josh Tepait and wife Marlie; daughter Esther Tepait; sister Elizabeth Medina and husband Antonio; brothers Armando Febre and wife Ching, Lorenzo Febre and wife Cita, Raul Febre, Percival Febre; grandchildren Jonathan Tepait and Peyton Tepait; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
She loved the Lord and her family, and she was blessed with the gift of empathy. When family or friends felt joy, she celebrated with them. When they felt sad, she cried with them.
Perla was also blessed with the ability to make people laugh, which applied especially to children. Her trademark saying, “oh-la-la,” which she used for anything and everything she loved, always brought laughter to everyone around her.
She loved clothes and enjoyed shopping for them online, which was great for her because she was terrible with directions and had a reputation of being able to get lost anywhere.
Perla loved working as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines, and because she never met a stranger, she was great at her job. She worked for the airline for 17 years.
The family will accept visitors Wednesday, October 9, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the North Dallas Funeral Home Chapel, 2710 Valley View Lane, Dallas, Texas 75234.
The funeral service will be Thursday, October 10 at 2 p.m. at the same location.
