Office of Neighborhood Vitality Earns Excalibur Award – Garland’s Office of Neighborhood Vitality recently received the Excalibur Award from the Camelot Neighborhood Association. The Excalibur Award annually honors an individual or group for outstanding civic duty and community engagement in service to the residents of Garland and Camelot.
Recipients of this esteemed award often include those who played pivotal roles in establishing and nurturing the association throughout its history.

2023 Neighborhood Award Winners – The city of Garland’s Office of Neighborhood Vitality recognizes those who make extraordinary efforts to enhance, revitalize or invest in their neighborhoods.
This year’s awards were presented at the Pre-Summit Mixer Nov. 9. Congratulations to:

- Garland Public Servant Award: Alan Lockley with Code Compliance.
Each winner will be nominated by the Office of Neighborhood Vitality for national recognition from Neighborhoods USA.
