Update: Suspect Jesus Trevino in custody – July 26
Jesus Trevino was taken into custody at the Lew Sterrett Justice Center July 26. The second unidentified subject is still at large, and Police continue to ask for the public’s assistance.
Trevino was booked in for Murder, with a bond amount of $1 million, and Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, with a bond amount of $750,000.00. The current book-in photo is not available.
Update: Police seek help identifying and locating murder suspect(s) – July 25
GPD detectives have identified Jesus Roberto Trevino as a person of interest in the July 18 murder of Brisen Dewayne Dunn, which occurred in the 3300 block of South Shiloh Road.
Trevino currently has warrants for Murder and Aggravated Assault with a deadly weapon and is being sought.
Update: Detectives are also asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a second unknown subject seen below. This subject was seen leaving the area of 11438 LBJ Freeway, just inside of the Dallas city limits on the day of the offense.

Update: The deceased male has been identified as 33-year-old Brisen Dewayne Dunn of Dallas. The second victim is in stable condition.
Detectives are continuing their investigation to identify the person(s) responsible and what led to the shooting.
On July 18 at approximately 7:20 p.m. the Garland Police Department responded to a shooting call in the 3300 block of South Shiloh Road.
Officers arrived and learned that two males were northbound in the 3300 block of South Shiloh Road on a gas-powered scooter. As they proceeded on a green light they were fired upon by unknown suspect(s) in a vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled northbound on South Shiloh Road.
Both men were transported to an area hospital with gunshot wounds. One male was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
The victim is identified as a Dallas resident, but his identity will not be released before next of kin notifications.
Garland PD detectives are investigating and speaking with witnesses to determine what led to the shooting. Additional details will be released when available.
