Opportunities to brighten a child’s Christmas

Dec. 15, 2020

There are still opportunities to donate toys for underserved children in our community. The Garland Fire Department and Hope Clinic are still collecting.

Fire Department Toy Drive

The Garland Firefighters Association and Garland Fire Department are collecting new, unwrapped toys for their annual toy drive. Toys will be collected at all 11 Garland fire stations and at the Fire Administration and Training Facility, 1500 State Highway 66, from Nov. 28 through Dec. 18.

Garland firefighters will deliver the toys to local children for the holidays. For more information, contact Noah Cunningham at 972-781-7117 or NCunning@GarlandTX.gov.

Join Hope Clinic of Garland, Toys for Families to make this a special Christmas

Bring a new, unwrapped gift to Hope Clinic at 800 South Sixth Street until Dec. 22. No need to come in – we’ll meet you at the door and give you a receipt. We’ll also make sure your gift goes to a child who might otherwise get no gifts. Gifts for boys and girls, every age from infant to teen, are needed.

There are opportunities for donors as well! Drop your gift off at Rosalind Coffee at 107 North Sixth Street in downtown Garland. They’ll take your name and address so Hope Clinic can send you a receipt. They’ll also give you a free house coffee as a thank you.
