Patriotic family fun, music, fireworks

Make plans now to in the fun as Firewheel Town Center, in conjunction with the city of Garland, celebrates our nation’s independence with a full afternoon of family fun during Star Spangled Spectacular from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 4.

 

Families will enjoy face-painting, bounce houses, caricature artists, balloon twisters, strolling entertainment, food rrucks and more during this year’s Star Spangled Spectacular. 92.1 Hank FM Party Patrol will be onsite from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. with games, prize giveaways and even more fun. Tunes will continue with a live performance by Hi Definition on the Main Stage from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. The event will culminate with a special Flag Presentation Ceremony, performance of the National Anthem and patriotic fireworks display at 9:15 p.m.

 

Firewheel Town Center retailers will join the celebration by adding great summer sales and in-store events throughout the day.

 

COST:  FREE and open to the community

 

WHEN:  Wednesday, July 4 from 4-9 p.m.

 

Family Fun Activities: 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Food Trucks: 4 p.m.-9 p.m.

Main Stage Entertainment: 7 p.m.-9 p.m.

                 

*Fireworks display begins at 9:15 p.m.*

Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and chairs/blankets. Patrons should carpool if possible and plan to arrive early as onsite parking is limited. DART transportation will be available.
