Pie in the face fun – Back to School Bash

Jul. 30, 2021

Blueprint Community Church and Intrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery are teaming up to host a back-to-school event where you can choose a victim to get a pie in the face!

The Back to School Summer Bash will be Aug. 7 with the pie in the face activity, bounce houses, line dancing, a DJ, free food and a raffle. The bash goes from 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Beginning at 6 p.m., Blueprint Community will host a worship service. The location is the downtown Garland square, 520 West State Street. COVID-19 vaccines will also be available.

Don’t miss this rare opportunity to pie Garland’s Mayor Scott LeMay and his wife Tiffany, District 8 Council Member Robert J. Smith, District 2 Council Member Deborah Morris and Cary Hodson, owner of Intrinsic Smokehouse & Brewery. There will also be some school officials there for your pie-ing pleasure!

Each pie in the face will cost $5 and proceeds will be used to purchase school supplies for GISD students.

Remember…You might not ever have this chance again!
