Update: The suspect has been identified as 63 year old Eduardo Rafael Rodriguez of Garland. Detectives were able to identify the subject through the use of social media. After being identified Rodriguez came to the Garland Police Department where he was arrested.
He is currently in the Garland Detention Center and is charged with Indecency with a Child – Exposing, a 3rd Degree Felony. No bond has been set.
Monday, July 9, at approximately 3:30 p.m., the Garland Police Department responded to the report of a male subject exposing himself at a thrift store in the 800 block of West Miller Road.
GPD officers learned that a Hispanic male subject entered the store and, while in the main area of the establishment, exposed his private parts to several shoppers, including children.
The male is described as 50-60 years in age with grey hair and mustache. He is heavy-set and was wearing a blue polo style shirt and dark pants.
