Jupiter Chevrolet’s Teacher of the Month SUV will embellish Back Elementary School’s parking lot throughout March. Prekindergarten teacher Rachel Wilson received a record-setting 5,759 votes, securing the sought-after title and wrapped vehicle.
“This is awesome, but I do not expect anything less from Back Elementary. We are the best,” Wilson said. “I definitely had lots of support from my family and all of our teachers here, so everybody got behind me. It is really humbling.”
Wilson’s historic number of votes in the monthly contest on Jupiter Chevrolet’s Facebook page demonstrates her impact on campus.
“She does an amazing job. She teaches 44 four and five-year-olds all day long,” said Principal Teresa McCutcheon. “She helps our staff with technology and she is just a super positive team member.”
Winning a decked-out SUV for 30 days, Wilson looks forward to driving it.
“I am super grateful to Jupiter Chevrolet for giving me this awesome car for a whole month. It has many awesome features in it. I cannot wait to use everything.”
