The time is now to join the 2021 Virtual ACTion Walk! With just 10 days left before we hit the ground running for a good cause, be sure to register right away.
It has been a full year now that we have been back in ACTion at the Achievement Center. In between labor shortages, pandemic logistics and the overwhelming need to keep our clients and their families safe, we have been putting up a hard fight.
However, that fight is far from over. Reduced capacity along with the additional safety precautions is taking its toll on our small nonprofit. Consider joining us to walk virtually Saturday, Nov. 6. You can walk in your neighborhood, at a local park or even on your treadmill. All proceeds will benefit the students of the Achievement Center of Texas.
Your participation includes the option to pick up your T-shirt. We can’t wait to host this event in person again soon and we thank you all for your continued support.

About
The Achievement Center of Texas is a licensed nonprofit daycare and day habilitation center for children and adults with special needs. We make every effort to offer families services that support those children wherever possible. In providing a wide range of services in the least restrictive environment, students at the Achievement Center can grow and develop physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. At our center, they work toward greater independence and a more satisfying way of life.
Mission
It is the mission of the Achievement Center of Texas to provide quality daycare and day habilitation (life skills training), arts exploration, educational assistance and community inclusion for children and adults with special needs so they can learn functional living skills and develop self-confidence working toward greater independence and a more satisfying life.
Values
The Achievement Center of Texas respects the rights of its students and their families to make their own decisions regarding the types of services they need and want and the Achievement Center staff will support them in those decisions wherever possible. The center uses a person-centered planning model to help students discover their dreams and set goals for the future.
