The Rowlett High School Lady Eagles softball team made it to the UIL regional quarterfinal round of the playoffs. Winning against Copperas Cove High School May 1 by a final score of 7-4 brought them the UIL bi-district title and a May 8 victory over Mesquite High School, final score 6-2, earned the Lady Eagles the UIL area title.
The team competed with Belton High School May 15 for the UIL regional quarterfinal but fell by a final score of 6-1.
