Ariel Pointe of Sachse, a senior living community, marked National Cake Day by engaging its residents in a fun and interactive baking event. The community’s residents showcased their baking skills by preparing and sharing their favorite cakes with neighbors, turning the day into a shared experience of community and enjoyment. 
The event allowed residents to participate in a creative activity, with each person contributing a cake of their choice. The delightful gathering provided an opportunity for neighbors to connect over delicious homemade desserts.
“We want to create moments that bring our residents together in fun, familiar, and simple ways,” said Mary Ann Armes, Executive Director of Ariel Pointe of Sachse. “National Cake Day was a great excuse to share some creativity, indulge in dessert, and make memories. We didn’t have one cake boss … we had multiple cake bosses!”
