**Update** Endangered Missing Person
It is with a heavy heart that the Garland Police Department reports that on Jan. 7, the Hunt County Sheriff’s Department notified us that they located Gary Chambers deceased. We extend our deepest condolences to the Chambers family during this difficult time.
Detectives are investigating the cause of death, but there were no apparent signs of foul play.
Garland Police are searching for a missing person, 70-year-old Gary Lynn Chambers..
Chambers was last seen on 12/29/2023 at 8:30 AM at his residence in the 1600 block of Travis Drive. He is described as a white male, 6’, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. He is believed to be wearing a grey sweatshirt and plaid pajama bottoms.
Chambers left the residence in a gold, 2008, Ford, F-150, truck, bearing Texas license plate SZL 0712. Chambers has a diagnosed mental condition and is believed to be in danger.
