UPDATE: Missing person Daniel Martinez-Gonzalez has been located and is safe.
The Garland Police Department is searching for a missing person, 70-year-old Daniel Martinez-Gonzalez. He was last seen yesterday, March 19, at 12 p.m. walking to a bus stop in the 5100 block of Tex Oak Avenue in Dallas.
Martinez-Gonzalez is described as a Hispanic male, 5’6” tall, 144 pounds, thin build, short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hat with a yellow emblem, blue facemask, black jacket, black t-shirt, black Nike jogging pants, black shoes. He was carrying a bright yellow envelope.
He has previously suffered a stroke and has trouble communicating. Officers believe his disappearance poses a creditable threat to his own health and safety and have issued a Silver Alert through the Department of Public Safety.
