UPDATE: The Sachse Mustangs played Mansfield Lake Ridge HIgh School April 2 at Homer B. Johnson Stadium and won the regional quarterfinals round of the playoffs by a final score of 1-0.
The Mustangs were defeated in the regional semifinals playoff game April 6 by Houston Cypress Bridgeland High School. The score was 4-3.

The University Interscholastic League (UIL Texas) bi-district round of playoffs for both the boys and girls Garland ISD varsity soccer teams (District 9-6A) was Friday, March 26. The area round of playoffs was played Tuesday, March 30.
Boys
Friday, March 26, the boys’ high school varsity soccer teams that made it to the playoffs, competed in the bi-district round.
The Sachse Mustangs defeated Mesquite High School. The final score was 2-0.
The North Garland Raiders lost to North Mesquite High School. The score was 2-1
The Garland Owls were defeated by Tyler Legacy High School by a score of 2-1
The Rowlett Eagles were defeated by Rockwall Heath High School by a score of 1-0.
As winners of the bi-district round, the Sachse Mustangs played Bryan High School in the area playoff round. They won by a final score of 3-2.
The Mustangs will compete against Mansfield Lake Ridge High School in the regional quarter-finals playoff round Friday, April 2, at 7 p.m. at Garland’s Homer B. Johnson Stadium, 1209 East Centerville Road.
Girls
Sachse High School’s Lady Mustangs won in the bi-district playoff round Friday, March 26, against Rockwall Heath High School. The score was 4-0
Rowlett High School’s Lady Eagles also won in the bi-district playoff round, beating Tyler Legacy High School by a final score of 4-2
The Lady Pirates of Wylie High School were defeated by Mesquite Horn by a final score of 1-0.
Naaman Forest High School’s Lady Rangers lost to Rockwall High school by a final score of 1-0.
In the area round of playoff games Tuesday, March 30, the Lady Mustangs were defeated by Belton High School and the Lady Eagles were defeated by Mansfield Lake Ridge.
