SGHS will play Waco Midway High School at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22 at Waxahachie in the area round of the playoffs.
The Lakeview Centennial Patriots were defeated 45-39 by Plano West High School in the bi-district round. Ariyon Williams and Jemarcus Caldwell scored 10 points each for the Patriots and Donte’ Houston scored nine.
The Sachse Mustangs lost to Jesuit High School by a final score of 71-39. Obi Onyia scored 11 points for the Mustangs and Chris Sellers scored eight points.
The Sachse Lady Mustangs were defeated in the regional playoff round by Allen High School in a 50-49 heartbreaker. Adhel Tac scored 18 points for SHS and Avery Crouse, Kayla Demus and Jayla Brooks scored nine points each.
