STARS Camp provides summer camp activities to children ages 6-12 with limited financial resources. Enjoy fun games, physical activities, arts and crafts and team-building experiences. Campers build self-esteem, develop social skills and improve overall health.
Registration is now open. Register in person at Bradfield Recreation Center or Hollabaugh Recreation Center.
Camp is June 14-July 30, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The cost is $25 per week.
Registration is limited to the first 75 qualified children on a first-come, first-served basis. Camp locations are Bradfield Recreation Center at 1146 Castle Drive in Garland and Hollabaugh Recreation Center at 3925 West Walnut in Garland. To qualify, bring the following information:
- Proof of income with two check stubs and a tax return or Social Security Disability for each individual over the age of 18 living in the household
- Driver’s license
- Proof of residence with a current Garland utility bill
- $25 per week per child due at registration
