A single car crash claimed the lives of three generations of a Garland family Jan. 14 just after 2 a.m.
Upon arrival, Garland police officers found that a Ford Mustang, which had been traveling north, had lost control and hit a curb causing it to leave the road. The vehicle then hit a decorative boulder that caused it to flip onto its top.
The three occupants, a mother, daughter and grandmother, were ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants were 28-year-old Crystal Davis, 3-year-old Alaiya Davis and 52-year-old Tina Brown.
There were no preliminary indications that alcohol was a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
