Since 2012, First Choice Emergency Room has partnered with Toys for Tots for its holiday community toy drive. First Choice Emergency Room, the nation’s largest network of freestanding emergency rooms, will collect unwrapped gifts for children ages 0-12 now through Dec. 13 at all of its Texas facilities. The Garland location is at 7050 North Shiloh Road.
“The success of the Toys for Tots drive depends on the support from local communities,” said Thomas S. Hall, Chairman and CEO, Adeptus Health. “Thanks to their generosity, we collected approximately 30,000 toys across all of our facilities in 2014 and we’re looking forward to another successful year. We are proud to continue to support this wonderful initiative that brings joy to so many children during the holiday season.”
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program is the largest outreach program in the Department of Defense. The program collects and distributes an average of 16 million items nationwide.

In addition to First Choice Emergency Room facilities serving as drop sites, employees will take part in a day of service at the Toys for Tots distribution center where they will sort and prep gifts for delivery.
First Choice Emergency Room facilities will be clearly marked as Toys for Tots drop sites. The facilities are open 24/7, which will make it easy for generous shoppers to drop off gifts.
