Week 3 of the District 9-6A high school football season ended with wins for Sachse HS and Rowlett HS, as well as Wylie and Wylie East high schools. The game scores are below:
Wylie East HS – Lakeview Centennial HS
Lakeview Centennial Patriots were defeated by the Wylie East Raiders by a score of 44-7 on Thursday, Sept. 12.
The Patriots’ score came on a touchdown pass from QB Kendrick Sanders to Julius Spencer.

Sachse HS – Garland HS
The Sachse Mustangs defeated the Garland Owls Friday, Sept. 13 by a score of 41-0.
Brendon Haygood carried the ball 10 times for 157 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Chase Thomas also scored a rushing TD. Aidan Sharp scored on an interception return. The Mustangs also scored two field goals.
Rowlett HS – South Garland HS
The South Garland Titans were defeated by the Rowlett Eagles Friday, Sept. 13. The score was 45-14.
The Eagles’ quarterback Samuel Loera completed 11-15 pass attempts for 183 yards and three touchdowns. Eagles’ QB River Kirkhuff completed 3-5 for 98 yards and two TDs. Braylon Griffith caught two passing TDs, and Jalen Thomas, James Dawson and Adelio Williams each caught one. Thomas had six catches for 119 yards.
Kelin Cottrell, who rushed for 166 yards in 18 carries, scored a rushing touchdown.
The Eagles also scored on a field goal.
The Titans’ two scores came on rushes by Santiago Moreno.
Wylie East HS – North Garland HS
The North Garland Raiders suffered a 52-13 loss to the Wylie Pirates Friday, Sept. 13. Raiders’ quarterback Christian Hampton completed TD passes to Samuel Williams for the two NGHS scores. Williams had four catches for 118 yards.
