Results for week 7 of the high school District 6-A football season are below.
Wylie Pirates 21 – Rowlett Eagles 7
Rowlett High School (2-5, 2-3) played Wylie High School (5-1, 4-0) Thursday, Oct. 5, at Homer B. Johnson Stadium. The final score was Pirates 21, Eagles 7. The Eagles lone TD came on a pass by quarterback River Kirkhuff to Cordell Lee. Kirkhuff ended the game at 4-6 with 68 yards.
Wylie HS QB Jagger Bale completed 10-18 for 210 yards and two scores. Martaveion Sanders, who caught four passes for 120 yards, and Jackson Draper each caught a TD pass. Roman Bueche rushed for a TD. Josh Ausborne carried the ball 21 times for 164 yards.
Lakeview Centennial Patriots 49 – North Garland Raiders 28
The Lakeview Centennial Patriots (4-3, 2-3) got a win over the Raiders Friday, Oct. 6, at Homer B. Johnson Stadium. LCHS quarterback Kendrick Sanders was 9-12 on the night with 158 yards and one touchdown. Johnathan White caught Sanders’ TD throw. Kieron Jones, who carried the ball 10 times for 89 yards scored a rushing TD. Kenyon White and Sanders also scored on runs. Special teams scored on a kickoff run, and the defense scored twice on interceptions.
The North Garland Raiders (1-5, 1-3) QB completed 14 passes for 199 yards and three scores. Mateo Howard had seven catches for 90 yards and two TD catches. Kameron Shaw also caught a TD pass. Trent Hill scored a touchdown on the ground.

Garland Owls 24 – Naaman Forest Rangers 14
The Garland Owls (5-2, 4-1) defeated the Naaman Forest Rangers (0-6, 0-4) by a score of 24-14 Friday, Oct. 6, at Williams Stadium. De’Adrian Hardy carried the ball 25 times for 222 yards and three scores for GHS.
NFHS quarterback Deangelo Perales completed 14 passes for 181 yards. In addition, Perales ran for two TDs.
Wylie East Raiders 70 – South Garland Titans 6
South Garland HS Titan (2-5, 0-5) suffered a big loss at the hands of Wylie East (5-1, 3-1) HS Friday, Oct. 6, at Wylie ISD Stadium. The Titans score came on a pass by QB Jaden Holland to Diego Tenorio.
The Raiders’ QB Howard Fisher IV completed 8-15 passes for 107 yards and a TD. QB Ethan Wall completed two TD passes and Kason Atkins completed one. Joseph Wyatt, Michael Henderson III, Amarean Porter and Keaton King caught touchdown passes. Henderson rushed for 94 yards and two scores. Fisher rushed for one TD and 82 yards. Keve’Yon Thorne scored twice on the ground and Ethan Wall ran for one TD. Kadon Crouch carried the ball seven times for 86 yards.
