Week six of the high school football season ended with victories for the Lakeview Centennial Patriots, Naaman Forest Rangers, Wylie East Raiders and Rowlett Eagles.

LCHS Patriots defeat Wylie Pirates
The Lakeview Centennial Patriots (4-2, 3-1) defeated the Wylie Pirates (3-2, 2-1) by a score of 20-10 in their Thursday, Sept 29 football game. LCHS quarterback Jonathan Hester ended the game at 9-19 with 70 yards and a touchdown which was caught by Johnathan Whittle. Shawn Lawson scored a rushing TD for the Patriots and they added two field goals to bring their point total to 20.
Rangers get win over Mustangs
The Naaman Forest Rangers (2-3, 2-1) got a 39-13 win over the Sachse Mustangs (1-5, 1-3) Friday, Sept. 30. The Rangers’ QB Deangelo Perales finished the game at 12-23 and 135 yards and an impressive four TD passes. Jason Flores caught seven throws for 92 yards and two TDs. Dylan Turner caught four for 37 yards and two touchdowns. Isaiah Cunning carried the ball for 182 yards and two touchdowns.
The Mustangs scored two rushing touchdowns – one by Khalyse Harris and the other by Brendon Haygood. Quarterback Brenden George completed 15 of 20 throws for 127 yards.
Wylie East Raiders get win over Garland Owls

The Garland Owls (4-2, 3-1) were defeated by the Wylie East Raiders (5-0, 3-0) by a score of 34-7 Friday, Sept. 30. Jayden Norwood completed a pass to Keylon Davis for the Owls’ lone TD. Davis had four catches for 119 yards. Norwood was 6-9 on the night with 122 yards. Keyuntae King carried the ball 21 times for 97 yards.
Eagles defeat Titans
The Rowlett Eagles (1-5, 1-3) got a 49-14 win over the South Garland Titans (1-5, 0-4) at their Friday, Sept. 30 football game. Devonta Crow carried the ball 10 times for the Eagles for 95 yards and three touchdowns. GerMyius Benson scored a rushing TD for SGHS and carried the ball nine times for 84 yards. Andrew Ellison also got a rushing score for the Titans. Ellison completed 17 of 23 pass attempts for 178 yards for two TDs. James Okolo caught eight passes for 105 yards and a TD. Rodney Gore also caught an Ellison pass for a touchdown.
Titans’ QB Mirko Martos threw for 93 yards and one TD which was caught by Reuben Davis. The other SGHS score came on a run by Alvaro Gonzales who carried the ball 25 times for 112 yards.
